What are the main challenges of environmental sustainability and why do we need to talk about them? What methods are available for the evaluation of environmental impacts in the area of materials and products? How to prevent greenwashing and make sense of ecolabels.

Our Sustainability workshop aims to introduce the complex issue of environmental sustainability. It will develop the ability of participants to take it into account when choosing materials or during the very process of designing their products. The workshop will provide basic knowledge of the methods enabling the assessment of impacts on the environment throughout the whole life cycle of the product. Using individual case studies, the workshop will clarify which processes and areas of the functioning of a company can benefit the most from these methods.
