About us
MatériO, an international network, was founded in 2000 by Quentin Hirsinger and Elodie Ternaux as an independent information and education center for innovative materials. There are several matériO branches worldwide –in Paris (headquarters), Prague, Seoul, and Geneva. Together they share and continuously expand their material expertise developing a comprehensive online database and displaying material samples in the showrooms.
The Prague branch of matériO (matériO Prague) opened on April 5th, 2011, by Happy Materials and has remained under HM management since then.
In addition to its services to members, MatériO Prague organizes exhibitions, seminars, and workshops on materials, their environmental impact, and circular economy principles. For more information about MatériO Prague’s services, see.
